Marib (Specific Source): The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance organized a Ramadan gathering for leaders and dignitaries from the Saba region, in Marib Governorate, as part of a series of meetings to affirm unity and readiness to support the national army in completing the national battle of liberation and ending the coup.
During the meeting, attended by leaders and dignitaries from Marib, Al-Jawf, and Al-Bayda governorates, the head of the council, Sheikh Hamoud Said Al-Makhlafi, praised the sacrifices of the people of Saba region in the national battle, recalling the Saba civilization and the extension of its historical and human legacy to this day.
Al-Makhlafi urged further popular cohesion and hard work to seize the moment and launch the battle to liberate Sana’a, noting that the opportunities are ripe to end the people’s suffering, defeat the Houthi militia, and restore the state.
He affirmed that Marib and Taiz are twin cities in struggle and steadfastness, and will be the starting point for liberating Yemen with the support of the coalition brothers and the unity of all free Yemenis.
The leader in Marib’s resistance, Ahmed Al-Shadadi, said that the popular resistance supports the national army, security, and local authorities with its active presence, national positions, and leadership roles, expressing gratitude to the head of the Supreme Council, Sheikh Hamoud Said Al-Makhlafi, and to the dignitaries and leaders for their spirit and sense of responsibility to serve the national battle.
