The notables and sheikhs of the Sabr districts in Taiz Governorate praised the positions of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance and its national role in preserving the effectiveness of the resistance and caring for its sacrifices, demanding that the first resistors be granted their full entitlements that reward the enormous sacrifices they made in the battle to defend the state. And the Republic.
This came during an expanded meeting organized by the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz Governorate, today, Monday, for notables, sheikhs and leaders of the three districts of Sabr: Sabr al-Mawadim, al-Misrakh, and Mashra’a and Hadnan, under the slogan: “Our resistance will remain the symbol of steadfastness and sacrifice and the foundation of liberation and victory.”
During the meeting, which witnessed a wide presence of resistance leaders and people of the three districts, the head of the Supreme Council for Popular Resistance, Sheikh Sheikh Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, in a speech he delivered via video call, said that the people of Sabr were at the front of the ranks from the first moments of the launch of the popular resistance, and they wrote with their blood the epic of steadfastness in the face of the Houthi coup, stressing that Taiz is an unbreakable city, and that its will will remain directed towards victory and liberation.
In the final statement, the participants stressed that the popular resistance was and remains the backbone of the battle of dignity and the basic foundation of the battle of liberation, praising the national roles that The Supreme Council for Popular Resistance is responsible for preserving the unity of the resistance, caring for the wounded, and supporting the fronts in the various stages of the confrontation. With their responsibilities towards the districts of Sabr, and paying attention to basic services and addressing the conditions of roads and infrastructure, stressing their full support for the fronts and their continued provision of all necessary supplies and equipment. At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees demanded that the sacrifices of the martyrs of the popular resistance be immortalized by caring for their families and taking care of their children, stressing that the blood of the martyrs will remain the compass and the commandment, and that the popular resistance will remain the symbol of popular will, steadfastness and sacrifice until complete victory is achieved.
