An expanded meeting of sheikhs, notables, and leaders of the Maqbanah and Jabal Habashi districts in Taiz Governorate blessed the decisions and actions taken by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, praising the decisive role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Yemeni legitimacy, unifying the national decision, and restoring Sovereignty over the liberated areas.<\/p>\n

In the meeting, which was organized by the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz Governorate, under the slogan: \u201cUnifying the decision and restoring sovereignty is our path towards restoring the state and ending the coup,\u201d the head of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, saluted the leaders and sheikhs of Maqbana and Jabal Habashi, praising the heroism and great roles of the two directorates in the national battle. He also renewed his welcome to the decisions of President Al-Alimi, and his praise of the fraternal position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

The participants in the meeting affirmed, in their final statement, the unity of the battle and the national cause, and their complete alignment behind the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, in the face of the Houthi militia, as it is the first enemy of Yemen and the Yemenis, and the root of the crises and the source of the suffering that the nation has experienced since the coup of September 21, 2014, stressing the Ending the coup requires the cohesion of all components of legitimacy, and the unification of the political and military decision.<\/p>\n

The attendees stressed that the popular resistance represents the impenetrable bulwark of the Yemeni state and its institutions, and the basic pillar of the comprehensive national project, which preserved the entity of the state when everyone abandoned it. We appreciate the efforts of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, headed by Sheikh Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, in uniting the resistance forces and formulating a national political project that crosses regions and divisions.<\/p>\n

The statement stressed that the Houthi militia represents the first enemy of Yemen and the Yemenis, calling for the cohesion of the components of legitimacy and the unification of its political and military decision, in order to end the coup and its dangers to Yemen and the region.<\/p>\n

The meeting appreciated the efforts of the resistance councils in Taiz and its directorates in supporting the fronts and supporting the national army, calling for doubling these efforts.<\/p>\n

The attendees also called on the Presidential Command Council to support the army and security with all the capabilities that guarantee its high readiness, and to unify their salaries with the rest of the forces within the framework of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, as a basis for administrative and operational unification, expressing their hope that the next government will be a government of national competencies that will assume the great historical role expected of it and the high hopes placed on it.<\/p>\n

The attendees called on the government and the local authority to pay attention to the districts of Maqbana and Jabal Habashi. Seriously, improving basic services and addressing livelihood imbalances, in addition to emphasizing the need to accelerate the completion of the liberation of the remaining lands of the two districts from the control of the Houthi militia, in light of the continued suffering of citizens from snipers and mines. And praising the national roles of the popular resistance in its support of the army and the state, their adherence to its choice, and adherence to national constants.<\/p>\n

The meeting concluded by calling on all political and social forces and components in Taiz and the rest of the liberated governorates to close ranks, unify the word, and take sides in the battle to restore the state, under the banner of the republic and legitimacy, until ending the Houthi militia coup.<\/p>\n
