The Popular Resistance Council in Aden Region condemns in the strongest terms and harshest language of denunciation the heinous assassination crime that targeted the activist and prominent educational figure Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Shaer, Director of Al-Nawras Schools, who was struck today, Saturday, by the hands of treachery and crime in the middle of Mansoura City, in a blatant targeting of knowledge and national cadres.<\/p>\n

Regarding this crime committed by unknown gunmen, the Council demands that the security authorities in Aden Governorate take immediate and serious action to pursue the killers and criminals and bring them to justice to receive their deterrent punishment, and to end this tragic chapter in the history of Aden City.<\/p>\n

The Council stresses the need to open a transparent and urgent investigation and to disclose its results to public opinion without delay. It categorically rejects registering this case \u201cagainst unknown persons,\u201d like the series of previous assassinations that targeted Aden\u2019s finest men and cadres, affirming that continued leniency in security cases gives killers a green light to persist in their crimes and encourages continued tampering with citizens\u2019 blood and violation of the city\u2019s security and stability.<\/p>\n

The Council renews its demand to open comprehensive international and local investigations into all assassination crimes witnessed in the temporary capital Aden over the past years, and to hold accountable all who planned, executed, or facilitated those operations that depleted scientific, political, religious, military, and security cadres.<\/p>\n

The Council affirms the necessity of purging security institutions and agencies of elements involved in chaos, and stresses its categorical rejection of any attempts to recycle killers or those involved in previous crimes and appoint them to security centers or positions of responsibility, considering that reforming the security system begins with removing criminal tools and ensuring they do not reach security decision-making centers.<\/p>\n

It calls on the legitimate government and the Arab Coalition to bear the historical and moral responsibility for uncovering the perpetrators of this crime and previous crimes. It holds the current security agencies in Aden responsible for securing the city and stopping the terrible security breakdown that has caused the recurrence of assassinations in broad daylight.<\/p>\n
