*Congratulatory Statement Issued by the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance on International Workers\u2019 Day*<\/p>\n

With pride and honor, the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance in Yemen extends its highest congratulations and blessings to all male and female workers of Yemen, its hardworking farmers, and freelancers across every inch of our precious homeland\u2019s soil, on the occasion of International Workers\u2019 Day.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
On this occasion, we affirm the following:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
*First:* We express our full and deep solidarity with Yemeni workers who today face extremely harsh living conditions, paying a heavy price as a result of the collapse of the economic situation, scarcity of job opportunities, and the sharp rise in the cost of living. We recognize the scale of suffering that Yemeni workers endure in order to provide a dignified livelihood for their families amid these successive crises.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
*Second:* We call on everyone to stand with reverence and respect before the great roles played by workers and farmers. They are the most important gear in the wheel of production and development, and the strongest force in efforts of construction and economic revival. The sweat of their brow that waters the land of Yemen is the true guarantee for the continuation of life and the resilience of society.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
*Third:* We call on our fellow workers to rally further around the values of production and noble national goals, and to dedicate their effort and sweat for the elevation of the nation. We also urge them to unite around their legitimate rights, which we affirm that meeting these rights and ensuring a dignified life constitute one of the most important moral and national obligations of the political authority.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
*Fourth:* We extend a sincere call to all parties and political forces to build a unified and firm national stance behind the legitimate rights of workers. We also demand that the government and the Presidential Leadership Council take serious and urgent action to fulfill the basic needs of workers, improve their livelihoods, and protect their economic security as a top priority that cannot be postponed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In conclusion, a salute of reverence and honor to every hand that builds, to every farmer who plants hope in our land, and to every worker who, with patience, shapes the features of tomorrow. You are, with all pride, the pillar of resilience and the nation\u2019s support in its battle for dignity and reconstruction.<\/p>\n
