The Head of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mukhlafi, held a video meeting with the Head of the European Union Delegation to Yemen, Patrick Simone, dedicated to discussing the visit made by the European official and his accompanying delegation to Taiz Governorate last week.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Sheikh Al-Mukhlafi praised the visit, describing it as an important initiative by the EU Delegation, given its anticipated results on various levels and the opportunity it provided to closely examine the social and living conditions in Taiz Governorate and its administrative capital.<\/p>\n

Al-Mukhlafi expressed his hope that this visit would mark the beginning of a new phase of objective and fruitful approaches by the international community, contributing to assessing the governorate\u2019s needs and priorities, and offering a fairer perspective on Taiz Governorate, which represents the beating heart of the Republic of Yemen.<\/p>\n

For his part, the Head of the EU Delegation expressed his admiration for the community vitality that characterizes Taiz Governorate, commending the role played by the educational, developmental, and humanitarian facilities of the Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mukhlafi Charitable Foundation. He also expressed appreciation for the warm reception he received during his visit to those facilities.<\/p>\n

In a related context, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mukhlafi and the Head of the EU Delegation expressed their profound condemnation and strong denunciation of the heinous assassination targeting Mr. Wissam Qaed, Deputy Executive Director of the Social Fund for Development in the temporary capital, Aden.<\/p>\n

Both sides called on the relevant authorities to swiftly pursue the perpetrators and bring them to justice to receive their deterrent punishment, affirming that such criminal acts aim to undermine efforts for stability, security, and civil peace.<\/p>\n
