The Political Authority of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance organized a political seminar titled: “Regional and Local Developments and Their Implications for Yemen\u2019s Future,” with the participation of branch heads and members of the Council\u2019s bodies and departments.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The seminar addressed two main topics. The first focused on the complexities of the local situation and its regional repercussions. It was presented by the prominent leader of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance and its official spokesperson, Mr. Yaseen Al-Tamimi, who reviewed a long history of foreign interference in Yemeni affairs, the roles of influential regional actors in the course of the crisis, and analyzed the ability of Yemeni elites to take initiative and direct events.<\/p>\n

In his paper, Al-Tamimi stressed the need to expedite the integration of military and security formations into the Ministries of Defense and Interior, and to restore the national army\u2019s status as a key pillar for reinstating state institutions. He also presented an analysis of several possible scenarios for the course of events in Yemen in the coming period.<\/p>\n

The second topic was titled “The Current Landscape and Response Strategies,” presented by Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Azazi, a member of the Political Authority of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance. He emphasized the importance of transforming the legitimate authority into an independent authority capable of making national decisions, drawing on international experiences that overcame regional influences and pressures.<\/p>\n

Al-Azazi called for building effective national partnerships, overcoming the paralysis affecting political forces, and assuming their responsibilities to drive efforts toward saving the country and restoring the path of the state.<\/p>\n

The seminar witnessed extensive discussions and interventions from attendees, addressing various aspects of the Yemeni crisis and ways to address it within a national vision aimed at strengthening stability and restoring state institutions.<\/p>\n
