Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mekhlafi, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Yemeni Popular Resistance, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sister State of Qatar, and through him to the ruling family and the Qatari people, on the passing of the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who passed away to the mercy of Allah after a life full of giving and achievement.<\/p>\n
In his cable, Sheikh Al-Mekhlafi, on his own behalf and on behalf of the leadership and members of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, expressed his deep sorrow and grief over this painful loss, affirming full solidarity with the State of Qatar in this great bereavement.<\/p>\n
The Chairman of the Resistance Council praised the virtues of the late deceased, describing him as “a high-minded leader and an exceptional man” who led his country with wisdom and insight at critical historical junctures, leaving enduring and impactful marks on the renaissance of the State of Qatar and on the path of the Arab and Islamic nation.<\/p>\n
