*The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance Condemns Iranian Attacks on Arab Gulf States*
Yemen (Special Report): The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance in Yemen expresses its strong condemnation of the Iranian attacks on Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. It also deplores the Houthi group’s continued involvement of Yemen in conflicts that exacerbate the burdens on Yemenis and deepen their escalating tragedy since the coup against the transitional government on September 21, 2014.
The Iranian attacks on the sovereignty of sister nations are completely unjustified and reveal a premeditated aggressive tendency, which will affect its relations with its regional environment and the understandings that established positive relations between it and neighboring Arab states. These attacks also have a clear negative impact on Iran’s position in the renewed war, which has caused the deaths of hundreds of innocent civilians, including dozens of male and female students.
The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance believes that there is an urgent need to regain the initiative in countries that have been severely affected by the negative military and security role of armed groups and formations funded by Iran. These groups have paralyzed the sovereign role of states, pushed them into conflicts and wars, and caused unprecedented levels of political, economic, and security failure, as well as the collapse of national solidarity systems.
