Dr. Nabila Saeed, Head of the Women’s Sector of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, sent congratulations to Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba on her appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and to Dr. Ahd Mohammed Salem Jaasoos on her appointment as Minister of Local Administration.

Nabila Saeed affirmed that these decisions represent an important step that reflects the presence of Yemeni women, their competence, and their ability to make an effective contribution to managing public affairs. She said it also embodies confidence in qualified national capacities to shoulder the responsibilities of the current phase with full capability.

The Head of the Women’s Sector of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance considered that the appointment of qualified women to positions of responsibility is a victory for the role of Yemeni women, who have been and continue to be an authentic partner in the course of national struggle, in resisting the Houthi militia, and in defending the homeland and its institutions.

Dr. Nabila Saeed expressed her wishes for Dr. Al-Zouba and Dr. Jaasoos for success and support in their new duties, and that this responsibility would be a station for further achievements and giving in service of Yemen and its people.
