Statement Issued by the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance

O sons of our great Yemeni people, O vanguard of struggle, and steadfast champions of resilience, sacrifice and heroism on every outpost and front, and O towering citadels of freedom in the face of the Imamate clerical onslaught;

The pivotal historical phase our country is passing through places all of us before a fateful responsibility that tolerates no hesitation and accepts no compromise. The facts have become as clear as the sun, and the days have proven beyond any doubt that this criminal Houthi militia, which staged a coup against the state, demolished the structure of the republic, and violated the sanctities and customs of the homeland, understands only the language of force, and submits only to deterrence and steadfastness, and continues in its deviation to dismantle our social fabric and tamper with the capabilities of our proud people.

In light of this fateful turning point, and as a continuation of our sacred national battle and to strike at the pillars of this destructive project, we in the Popular Resistance announce the following:

The Popular Resistance declares a state of general mobilization and comprehensive recruitment in all liberated governorates and districts, and calls for closing ranks to defend the land and deter the brutal Houthi aggression.
The Popular Resistance calls on all free people of Yemen to engage immediately and widely in voluntary recruitment, and to head to the resistance camps in various liberated districts, for the honor of defending the homeland.
The Popular Resistance specifically addresses the valiant heroes of the districts of Taiz, and calls on them to mobilize immediately, rise as one man, and move urgently toward the resistance camps, to defend the land and honor, and to restore the districts that recently fell into the hands of the criminal Houthi militia.
Joining the Popular Resistance camp is the most binding national duty, and the impregnable fortress for protecting the districts, cleansing what the militia has desecrated, and preserving the gains of the revolution and the republican system.
The Popular Resistance calls on the Presidential Leadership Council, headed by Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, to shoulder the national and historical responsibilities in this critical phase, and to hasten to mobilize all capabilities and potentials for the Armed Forces and the Popular Resistance, and to provide full coverage and the urgent requirements for the battle to restore the state and overthrow the coup.
We pledge to God Almighty, and we pledge to the masses of our great people that we in the Popular Resistance will remain the support, shield and strong backbone for our valiant Armed Forces, and we will not loosen our grip on weapons until we restore the state and its institutions. We will proceed with unwavering resolve to liberate the capital Sanaa and every inch of the nation’s soil, and to end the Imamate Houthi coup for good, no matter the sacrifices.

O sons of our proud people; our battle today is a battle of existence and survival, and your solidarity with your army and your resistance is the sure guarantee to complete the liberation, and the sail that will carry us to the shore of glorious victory, and to restore our usurped republic.

Covenant, glory and eternity to the righteous martyrs.
A speedy recovery to the free wounded.
Freedom to the prisoners and abductees.
And glorious victory to great Yemen.
