Source in the Supreme Council of the Resistance: We achieved advances west and southwest of Taiz and inflicted dozens of dead and wounded on the militia
A responsible source in the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance said today, Tuesday, that heroes of the resistance supporting the National Army achieved, during the past two days, field advances in Al-Mihal area on the Al-Kadha front west of Taiz, and Jabal Qarfan on the Jardad front on the borders of Al-Wazi’iyah district, southwest of the governorate.
The source said that the heroes of the Popular Resistance lost five martyrs during these confrontations, while 13 other members of the resistance were injured while performing their national duty, amid violent confrontations waged by the army and resistance forces against the Houthi militia on various fronts in Taiz Governorate.
He pointed out that the Houthi militia incurred heavy human and material losses by the fire of the army and the Popular Resistance, resulting in dozens of dead and wounded in its ranks, and the destruction of a number of its vehicles and military equipment.
The source concluded by affirming that these confrontations represent an extension of the battle to restore the state, and that the Popular Resistance and the National Army are proceeding to consolidate their positions and move from repelling attacks by the Houthi militia to restoring territory and liberating areas. He affirmed that the Popular Resistance will remain a support for the Armed Forces and a shield for the Republic, and that the sons of Yemen, foremost among them the sons of Taiz, will continue their battle until the state and its institutions are restored, and the clerical coup is ended.
