Lahj Governorate witnessed a remarkable popular and social movement in celebration of the recent presidential decisions issued by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi.
Thousands of people in the governorate raised the flags of the Republic over their homes and on their vehicles, in a symbolic message that reflects adherence to national identity and support for the path of restoring state institutions. The scene in the district centers and villages in Lahj Governorate turned into a spontaneous celebratory demonstration, as the streets and cars were decorated with the Republican flag.
Sheikh Abdul Raqeeb Al-Subaihi, Chairman of the Popular Resistance Council in Aden Region, praised the recent presidential decisions. Al-Subaihi stressed that President Rashad Al-Alimi’s steps “restored the state’s prestige and extended its influence” at a pivotal moment in which the nation needs clarity and strength in decision-making. He stressed that this path ensures the participation of all effective forces, which contributes to shaping a just future.
The ceremonial activities in Lahj witnessed widespread praise for the fraternal positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Local leaders, notables, and notables of the governorate expressed their thanks to Riyadh for its continued support for the Presidential Leadership Council, whether on the political, economic, or military levels.
The participants stressed that the Saudi role represents a “safety valve” for the region, appreciating the efforts made to alleviate human suffering, support peace efforts, and restore the Yemeni state, which was reflected positively on the morale of the Yemeni street.
