Marib (Specific Source): The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance organized a Ramadan gathering for leaders and sheikhs of the popular resistance in the Tihama region, in Marib Governorate, as part of efforts to strengthen national unity and unify efforts against the Houthi militia and support the path to restoring the state.

During the meeting, the head of the council, Sheikh Hamoud Said Al-Makhlafi, emphasized in his speech via video link the need for national unity in the face of the Houthi militia, which practices oppression and revives the outdated imamate approach, stressing that the Yemeni people will not accept the continuation of this project, and that the militia is currently experiencing a state of frustration.

Al-Makhlafi praised the national roles of the people of the Tihama region, noting that they have made great sacrifices in the national struggle and have been strongly present since the first shot against the Houthi coup.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council, Mohammad Azzam, affirmed that the popular resistance is a national force that emerged from the will of the Yemeni people, shattered the clerical project, and will remain at the heart of the battle until liberation is completed and state sovereignty is restored.

The attendees affirmed their commitment to continuing national efforts and strengthening cooperation until the state is restored and the Houthi coup project is defeated.
